The agreement between you and Dashboard Solutions when you use the platform. Last updated 9 October 2026.
By creating an account or using the Dashboard Solutions platform ("the Service") you agree to these terms. The Service is provided by SOLE ENTERPRISE PTY LTD (ACN 703 066 782), trading as Dashboard Solutions ("we", "us", "our"). If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Dashboard Solutions is a read-only reporting platform. It connects to third-party systems you already use, reads your business data and presents it as dashboards and reports. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a reseller of ServiceM8, Xero or any other platform we connect to. Your subscriptions to those platforms are separate and billed by them.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You must not share a single login across multiple people where separate logins are available, misuse the Service, attempt to breach its security, or resell access without our written agreement.
Your data stays yours. By connecting a system you authorise us to read data from it for the purpose of providing the Service. You confirm you have the right to grant that access and, where the data includes personal information about your customers or staff, that you have the right to have it processed this way. We will not write to, alter or delete anything in a connected system. You may disconnect at any time.
You must not, and must not let anyone using your account: try to access another business's data; probe, scan or attempt to breach the security of the Service; scrape, mirror or resell the reporting output as a product of your own; upload malicious code; use the Service to store or process data you have no right to; or use it in a way that breaks Australian law. Automated access outside the product's own interface needs our written agreement, and we may rate-limit anything that puts the platform at risk. If you find a security flaw, email us before telling anyone else and we will work with you on it — we will not pursue good-faith reports.
New accounts may receive a free trial. No payment details are required to start one and you will not be charged automatically when it ends. At the end of the trial, access to paid features stops unless you choose a plan. We may vary or withdraw trial offers at any time.
You may cancel at any time from your account settings, effective at the end of your current billing period; there is no lock-in contract and no exit fee. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for part months. The circumstances in which we do refund — including double charges, charges after cancellation, and a trial that converted before you meant it to — are set out in our Refunds & Billing Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in either document limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
We aim to keep the Service available and current, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Our availability and support-response targets, what is excluded from them, and how to report an incident are set out in our Service Level Agreement. Data refreshes depend on the availability and rate limits of the third-party systems we read from. We may perform maintenance, and will give notice of planned downtime where practical.
The Service only works because ServiceM8, Xero and similar platforms let us read your data through their APIs. Those platforms are not ours. They can change their APIs, their data fields, their rate limits or their terms, or withdraw access, and any of that can change or interrupt what your dashboard can show. We will tell you promptly and work around it where we can, but we are not liable for the acts, omissions, outages or pricing of a third-party platform, and you must keep your own subscription to it in good standing. If a platform permanently removes access to data a paid feature depends on, you may cancel and we will refund any period you have paid for that we can no longer deliver.
The Service reports on the data in your connected systems. If that data is incomplete or incorrect, the reporting will reflect it. Our output is intended to support your decisions, not replace professional accounting, financial, legal or tax advice, and you remain responsible for decisions you make using it.
We own the platform, its software, design and documentation. You own your data. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide and support the Service. Any feedback you give us may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the Service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data. Subject to clause 13, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Neither party excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Each party will keep the other's non-public information confidential and use it only for the purposes of these terms. That covers your business data on our side and, on yours, anything we share about pricing, roadmap or how the platform is built. It does not cover information that is already public, is independently developed, or must be disclosed by law.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, breach of these terms or unlawful use, with notice and a reasonable chance to fix it where practical, or immediately where the breach is serious or unlawful. On termination your access ends, and your synced business data is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy — export anything you want to keep first. Clauses on fees already owed, confidentiality, intellectual property and liability survive termination.
Neither party is in breach for a delay or failure caused by something genuinely outside its reasonable control — natural disaster, war, an outage at a major cloud or telecommunications provider, or a government act. If it lasts more than 30 days, either party may terminate, and we will refund any period you have paid for that we could not deliver.
Notices to you go to the email address on your account and are treated as received the next business day; notices to us go to info@dashboardsolutions.com.au. Keep your email address current. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them to a purchaser of our business, on the same terms, with notice to you.
Talk to us first. Email info@dashboardsolutions.com.au with what happened and what you want done, and we will respond within 5 business days and try to resolve it directly. If we cannot, both parties will attempt mediation in Queensland before starting court proceedings, unless urgent relief is needed. This does not stop you contacting a regulator or exercising rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law at any time.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and both parties submit to the courts of that jurisdiction. Together with the documents listed in clause 1 they are the whole agreement between us and replace any earlier discussion or proposal. If a clause is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
