Your jobs and your numbers, in one owner's view.

Dashboard Solutions reads the three systems your work already runs through — ServiceM8, Xero and your email — and turns them into a plain-English picture of the business: missed calls, unanswered email enquiries, stalled quotes, uninvoiced work and cash at risk, refreshed through the day and on your phone.

The Dashboard Solutions owner dashboard on a laptop: enquiries, missed calls, open quotes, uninvoiced work and what needs attention today
The problem

ServiceM8 runs the job. It doesn't run the business.

Everything you need to know is already in there — it's just spread across job cards, quote lists and the phone log, where nobody looks until something has gone wrong.

!
Calls come in while the team's on a ladder, and nobody knows which ones were never rung back.
!
Quotes go out and quietly go cold — no follow-up list, no win rate you'd actually trust.
!
Jobs finish, invoices don't get raised, and the money shows up a month late or not at all.
!
Repeat customers who should be back every 12 months simply never get contacted.
!
Owners find out about a bad month at BAS time, from the accountant.
!
Every "report" is someone's Sunday night in a spreadsheet.
Three sources, one picture 🔗

ServiceM8 says what happened. Xero says what it was worth. Email says what you nearly missed.

Most trade owners run all three and reconcile them in their head. Dashboard Solutions reads them side by side, and shows you where they disagree — the work that was finished and never billed, the invoice that was paid weeks ago and still shows as owing, the month that looked busy and wasn't profitable.

Exceptions between the two

Completed in ServiceM8 but never invoiced in Xero, invoiced in one and missing in the other, payments landed in Xero while the job still reads unpaid.

%

Margin, not just turnover

Revenue and cost of sales from Xero against the jobs that produced them, so a busy month you lost money on stops looking like a good one.

💰

Cash you can act on

Real debtor ageing from the accounting file, ranked by who owes what — next to the finished work that hasn't been billed yet.

One connection of each kind per business: one ServiceM8 account, one Xero organisation and one mailbox. Connect them one at a time, in any order — each one lights up more of the dashboard. Xero and email are optional. Connect ServiceM8 only and every operational module still works in full — the financial exception and margin views are the pages that need the accounting file. MYOB and QuickBooks are on the roadmap.

How the connections work →

What you get

Eleven modules. One honest view of the business.

Connect ServiceM8 once and the dashboard builds itself — no data entry, no spreadsheets, no change to how the crew works.

◆

Answers, not exports

Every page opens on the conclusion — what's slipping, what it's worth and who it belongs to — with the underlying jobs one click away.

Always current

Data refreshes automatically through the day, with two years of history loaded on day one so trends are there from the first login.

🔒

Read-only and secure

Never writes back to ServiceM8, your accounting system or your inbox — and it runs on SOC 2 compliant cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest.

Call tracking

The phone is where the money leaks. ServiceM8 barely shows you.

ServiceM8 logs calls. It doesn't tell you which ones were missed, which were never returned, or what that cost you. This is the module owners open first.

Every inbound call matched to a customer and a job — and the ones that were never rung back listed by name and age.

Every missed call, with a callback status

Not a call log — a worklist. Each missed call is matched to a customer where we can, aged, and marked returned or not returned.

What it's actually costing

Uncontacted enquiries are sized using your own average job value, so a missed call stops being an inconvenience and becomes a number.

When you're losing them

Missed calls by hour and by day, so you can see whether it's the 9am rush, lunch, or knock-off time — and staff the phone accordingly.

First-time vs existing

New enquiry numbers separated from existing customers, so you know whether you're losing new work or annoying the people you already have.

Call reporting uses the ServiceM8 phone add-on. Without it, every other module still works in full.

On the phone 📱

The same numbers, in the ute.

Nothing to install. Open it on your phone between jobs and you get the same dashboard, the same figures and the same list of what needs doing today.

Questions

Straight answers

Will this change anything in my ServiceM8?

No. The connection is read-only by design — the dashboard can read your data but can never create, edit or delete anything in ServiceM8. Anything you tick off in the dashboard stays in the dashboard.

Do I have to connect Xero or my email?

No. ServiceM8 is the required connection. Xero is optional and adds the financial exception checks, real debtor ageing and margin reporting; email is optional and adds the enquiry and reply-time reporting. Both are read-only — we never post, edit or reconcile anything in your accounting file, and we never send, reply to or read the contents of an email. MYOB and QuickBooks are on the roadmap.

Can I connect more than one account?

One of each per business: one ServiceM8 account, one Xero organisation and one mailbox — Gmail or Outlook, not both. It is the owner's own inbox that gets connected. If you run several entities, talk to us.

Can you read my emails?

No. The mailbox connection asks for metadata only — sender, recipient, timestamps and subject line. The permission we request from Google or Microsoft does not allow us to open the body of a message, and we never send anything from your account.

Do I need the ServiceM8 phone add-on?

Only for the call and missed-call reporting. Everything else — quotes, jobs, customers, cash — runs on standard ServiceM8 data, and we'll tell you at signup which pages will have data.

How much history do I get?

We backload two years from ServiceM8 the moment you connect, so year-on-year comparisons work from day one. From then on nothing is ever aged out or archived — your history keeps building for as long as you're a customer.

How secure is it?

The platform is built on a SOC 2 compliant cloud infrastructure and follows a SOC 2 aligned control framework — encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, per-business data isolation and audit logging. Dashboard Solutions itself is not SOC 2 certified; we're a new product and we'd rather tell you that than imply otherwise.

Who can see the numbers?

You control it. Revenue and margin views are owner-only; office users see the worklists and operational pages, never the money pages.

What happens after the free trial?

You pick a plan to keep going. We don't take a card up front and we don't auto-charge you.
